An oasis in the city

This is a beautiful course run by thoroughly good natured people. It’s like the old fashioned view that it is more a service to the public than a business to itself. Nice cafe too!

Good family and child friendly course. The option to play 9 or 18 holes. An ideal beginners course for children. Very clean and tidy course and facilities. Not too many obstacles. Very well signposted. Wasn't very busy so really relaxing experience

Very well looked after course, great to practice your short game. Greens are excellent. Bunkers and water keep you honest.

Very well maintained for what is essentially a pitch and putt and the club hire cost isn't unreasonable - however, in my opinion you shouldn't have to pay more to complete 18 holes instead of just the 9, as it is quite expensive (round for a student gets in excess of £10 with club hire, what you'd expect to pay at a 'full' course).

This course is well matured with some nice water hazards! The bird wildlife is fantastic and you'll not be surprised to see woodpeckers flying about whilst the moorhens run for cover of the stray balls! Is a great use of a spare hour or two on a sunny morning.
