Historic beautiful course and grounds
If you haven't played this 9 hole course then you must make time to experience it. The whole course is very well laid out albeit that the arrangement of the Tees is a bit confusing until you are told how it works. Basically to take the Yellow Tees on the front 9 and then the Blue Tees on the back 9. The scorecard colouring guides you.The grounds and setting of this level course give good views over these historic school grounds. The greens are a good size and offer the opportunity to use you green reading skills. Take your time or you could loose a lot of shots. Bunkers are well placed and well kept.
A good test of golf. Generally the course is quiet but there are times when the course is closed to the public. In particular when Tee times are reserved for pupils of the school and during members competitions. The down side is that there is no 19th hole so you won't be able to get food or drink.
