Worth a visit
Well kept parkland course. Firm greens. Good fairways with plenty of grass. interesting layout.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 24.5)

Some greens were OK, had been sanded, so in a couple of weeks will be fine, course in general was dry and in good nick.

Up and down hilly course but some interesting holes. Good value on afternoon deal and course was empty!

Played this course many times, to be avoided when the winds blows, as high up on the moors, it counts a lot against you. Course was in excellent condition when I played it.

Played this many times, tricky course to get around and has great views over the moors. Greens can be small and if brave enough on the par 4 11th hole, can you fire over the trees and hit the green safely from the tee? I have lost a few balls trying.

Busy and wet but interesting
Busy course though still able to play in 3 hours by playing through slower groups. Wet day and course was just about holding up. Interesting layout albeit it shortish.Reviewer Rating

Summer Course
Played today with Nomads Society. It was cool/cold but dry. The course was better than it might have been given the amount of rain but we didn’t see it at its best. The fairways need a cut but I understand why they haven’t been yet. It’s a course I like and it’s one of not so many that start with a Par 3 which can increase the nerves. Not a challenging course but a very enjoyable one in the summer.Reviewer Rating

Well worth the travel
The course was spot on and we all agreed to return and play this again in the summer time.club house ok but in the middle of extension work . So no real pro shop, but bar and food are excellent.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 98 Handicap: 22)

Interesting shortish course
Course in great condition apart from a badly repaired first green and a temporary on 13. First time playing and while the course was shortish, most holes were interesting, even though they favoured a left to right hitter. Fast round for a two ball of just over 3 hours only held up from the 16th green.Reviewer Rating

Good COurse
