Good little short course. 2 - Pointer
Brilliant overall, good to work on ones shorter game. There were 2 points that i would like to bring up.1- The greens should be given more speed as a lot of them were rather slow.
2 - on the 6/15th Hole the Par 5 there is that massive tree that is in the fairway, this takes out the opportunity to hit large and go for the green with a short iron. Perhaps the Greenkeeper should bring the idea up of getting rid of the tree.

Great little course! Only planned to play nine but wanted to play 9 more and it was only £5 extra! £12 for the first 9. Friendly clubhouse and even a little shop which I didn’t even realise was there.

what a fun golf course
Moved to Colchester from Romford late March this year . Played this course 25 years ago and thought I would give it a go . Kept in excellent condition . It is pretty , fun and you need to think . Just a touch short to be a great course but I like fun golf courses and this is exactly that . Members and bar very very friendly and I am told the food is excellent . Hidden Gem
Birch Grove is a lovely little course in fantastic condition, if you are looking for course to play for all levels of handicap there is something at birch for everyone.(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 0)

Was just visiting the area, so popped in to try and get a quick game. This was not a problem as it is a pay and play course, which is surprising with the quality of the course. May only be a 9 hole but there is plenty there to challenge. It's not the longest course about but very enjoyable

Very well maintained course and nice medium-fast greens.lovely soft sand in the bunkers which are dotted all over the place. Only one par 5 and a lot of par 3 s so good practice for mid irons.
