good reception area but apart from booking a tee time caters mainly for the leisure side of the club

No clubhouse present - paid for round at the bar.
Greens were in very poor condition.
Course played OK though and seemed longer than its 5000 and odd yards.
3, 12, 16, 18 are particularly good holes.

Great place for a cheap and cheerful round. You'll always get a tee time but it's a country club trying to be a golf course.

Club under refurbishment, staff were helpful but short handed. Course waterlogged in some places even on the edge of the green.

First vist
Haven't previously played or considered playing here due to course short length and jumped up wannabees reputation, but proved wrong. Everything in good condition apart from areas worked on still bedding in or waiting to be. Big negative is number of buggy driving hackers holding up play and not showing any course maintenance. But really enjoyed playing the course, which is very well tended to. Not overly challenging due to openness but still a very worthy challenge. Excellant bunkers & greens, but a few too many tees a bit grim letting it down a touch. That said I'll be joining this week!!(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 77 Handicap: 11.8)

Course very much improving with the high levels of investment. Excellent greens and nice white bunkers with plenty of sand. Course in good condition. Lack of length is the main downfall of this course as only 5189 yards off the yellows. I believe after improving drainage they will review the yardage of the course.

Great setting and staff friendly. Course in good condition considering all the ongoing work to improve drainage.....certainly on the back 9. Too many blind shots for my liking which means local knowledge is a must! I found the black flags annoying and in many instances difficult to see against a woodland back drop. A tip to all.... Keep it on the fairway because the semi rough although short snafles golf balls with ease! I lost 5 and found 7 golf balls....
