great course a shame i played sooo badly - greens were pristine

Great Course and a challenge for all
Great Course in the most amazing country. Very like Woburn and as difficult and challenging for all. Very well designed and requires thought as well as brawn(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: 17.7)

Absolutely Fabulous course, what a great day, go there and play your golf without hardly seeing anyone else on the course, really stunning setting, lots of challenging holes, loads of memorable places to find yourself on a Golf course.
Super Clubhouse and facilities.
Best hidden Gem in Dorset.

Best course I have played on. Challenging with a variety of natural hazards. Good condition and the staff and facilities is what you would expect. Great day.

Extremely good lay out of course. Played the course in winter and the fairways were very wet. Greens wer in very good condition though. Would go back and play in the spring/summer. Some really lovely holes.

Great course and fabulous facilities. Very wet round and lots of surface water on the fairways but greens were dry.

all the staff make you feel very welcome, it has an amazing feel about the place, a secluded gem.

stunning course, very much like Woburn. A must play, no bad holes. Only criticism there were no stroke savers in the pro shop, playing every hole 'blind' is a challenge you can do without.

Shocked by comment that it's too posh for some - here's a club with no Captain, no committee and no reserved parking places and staff who welcome you like long lost friends. The course is brilliantly laid out and you rarely see anyone else around, making it feel exclusive. I'd love to be good enough to play off the purple tees, the yellows being difficult enough for me! The comment on the 18th being a "Con" due to being "tricksy" is strange; here's a hole where your approach shot has to be carefully managed before even attempting par with a second shot downhill across a lake - more what I'd call a good test of golf. Clubhouse is totally relaxed and no sneering members ready to pick you up on the wrong colour laces or whatever; food excellent too.

Played the course twice in 10 days could not fault it!
If I lived closer I would join in a flash.
Nigel must be the best pro in the area, meeting us before we played and showing great charm and humour on both occasions.
I can see why this course is rated so high.
