What great value, the course is an excellent challenge, some spectacular view, really interesting and well thought out holes. All summer greens an one or two different the positions to ensure a different aspect. !0th December on a cold, crispy, breezy day, smashing. Yes one or two parts of the course are a little soggy but it really doesn't spoil the round. We paid £16 for the winter warmer which included an excellent breakfast and cuppa. Staff and members are very friendly and welcoming and if you are lucky you occasionally get a random dog that wants to walk the whole course with you to keep your company.

Very interesting course, with different types of hole and some excellent challenges. Only a couple of issues, the greens are a bit slow, but they are very true and in good condition. Also there are no long par threes. Love this course though.

Great clubhouse, cracking views. Full English and a round of golf for £20. Some great holes, tricky 16th hole. Well kept. Worth every penny. Would recommend and go again. Only downside is the. 4th and 18th are not signed posted after the previous hole. It was like to find Lord Lucan at times today.

Still cracking course

Excellent condition course, makes you think. Very enjoyable. Monday madness green fee £10 cannot be beaten, but the regular visitor fees are not over priced for this gem of a course.

Great value Course - Friendly members

Played for first time - attracted by the Monday ?10 offer - although standard green fees also good value.
A good mix of long forgiving par 5s, and short par 4s where position rather than length is key, as some with doglegs. Fairways in very good condition. No two holes looked the same.
Hollow tining of the greens recently made them a bit slow but otherwise true.
Was playing solo but paired up with 2 members who made me most welcome especially as speed of play was a bit slow at times (I guess maybe due to the Monday offer).
Returning next week

Ok course, very slow, members playing in a large group didn't let any one through. Very poor etiquette.
The course doesn't flow well and a few crossing fairways, some interesting holes though , on winter tees so several holes shorter than normal. Greeted by pretty young lady in the shop who was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you check confirmation time as mine was pushed back, so due to slow play struggled to get in before the light faded.
