Greens unplayable
Damage to greens makes them unplayable, work is being done to repair but this is taking a long time.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 13.7)

18 played across 2 courses
They have the 'Trafalgar' course in play at the moment. This I believe is to save the holes on both courses that are suffering. You play the front nine of the Waterloo course before jumping to 4 holes on the wellington course and then jump back across to the Waterloo. Most of the fairways are OK, the greens are slow and currently the grass is infected so they are incredibly bobbly.
This is usually a great venue to play and even better with the green fee deals, unfortunately this time was a real disappointment.

Greens Really Poor
I appreciate courses need to hollow tine greens and tee boxes. However the greens had not been levelled and cut and were covered with bare patches. Fairways were also not maintained.Have played here before and have to say that the course is not in good condition at the moment.

Clay Nightmare
Beautiful course in the summer but once the rain comes in during winter months ground conditions range from poor to unplayable. Drainage doesn't seem effective on many holes and the sand in bunkers is solid and lacking throughout.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.7)

Okay condition but slow play
Played the Wellington course. Fairly open and quite tough rough. The course is in ok condition for this time of year, although the greens are slow. However the pace of play is way too slow. At one point there were 4 groups on one of the par 5's. And wherever you are, you can see so many other groups. The tees and green are quite close together.I would say this is an average pay and play course, but needs some work to be able to charge the fees they do.

Very wet despite minimal rain over the past two weeks, greens slow and bumpy - not true putting surface. Many fairways had standing water.
