The courses were generally good, although some holes & general areas are still suffering from the effects of the very bad storm damage in 2014 when 3,600 trees were blown down. The changing facilities for visitors are poor - being situated some 200 metres away at the outdoor swimming pool area, not in the main club house. Given the extensive size & scope of the members area, it is very surprising that some facilities are not available in the very lovely main club house. This does rather detract from the overall experience - especially when there is not even a place to change your shoes & a safe place to leave them in the main club house.

Good course. Off the beaten track. But supposedly one of the best around Barcelona.

Great golfing experience
The experience of playing at El Prat is fantastic from start to finish. It is a challenging course that provides a stern test but it remains enjoyable throughout. My favourite golf experience to date and one I would like to do again in the future.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: )

Terrific course with plenty to challenge all levels. Excellent condition and - as other reviewers have said - several loops of 9 which are all quite different in character. Played in a mixed-ability group of 8 and we all really enjoyed it. Not quite as scenic as Barcelona Golf but has a much more prestigious feel and is in a different league condition-wise.

A superb golf club with 5 nine-hole loops (if you include neighboring El Valles) designed by Greg Norman. There is almost no water on the course but a lot of bunkers. The real challenge is the approach as the greens are raised, well protected and fast. A short shot will inevitable roll back off the green, quite likely into a bunker, a long on will run over. You need to bring your short game. The 4 El Prat nines are combined into different courses with the Open Course (where the Spanish Open was contested in 2015) being the most challenging combination of the "Abajo" front-nine and the "Arriba" back nine. The two other nines are called Bosque and Piscina - the latter being the easiest of the 4 nines. The El Valles nine is most of the time played as a separate golf club but occasionally taken into the El Prat rotation, especially if there is a competition. Moving to Barcelona? This it the club where you want to be a member!

Fantastic Course - recommend playing o anyone visiting Barcelona . Even though getting ready for Spanish Open the fairways and greens in great order . Play Monday much cheaper

The Spanish Open will be played here in 2015 and you can see why. A large beautiful landscape with fabulous views. The courses here are all a good test and some of the holes are absolutely stunning. The Arriba 9 holes are nine of the best holes I have ever played. A fabulous club house and facilities, a must play location if you can arrange it.
Some of the par 5's are nearly 600 metres long (off the back tees which they allowed up to play on) and they have a par 3 hole of 234 yards surrounded by one of the biggest bunkers I have seen!
I hope to return and play it again asap.
