I have played and enjoyed this course many times before but my last visit ie 8th Jan. 2024 was the worst condition that I've ever seen the greens and the fairways

Pro shop a little un welcoming ?? Booked a buggy but told non available , paired us up with 5 handicapper, shop facilities poor !!! However, course was very enjoyable , good greens, fairways a bit sparse, I would say to over played, over all a bit more work required before I would return here again

Great little bonus course
After playing five rounds at La Manga over a long weekend we headed to the airport to fly back to UK. However due to the worst storms in the regions history, all the roads were shut and we ended up missing our flight home (the 50 minute drive took nearly four hours). So we decided to find a hotel and fly out the next evening. We got an amazing deal at the hotel here, an apartment to sleep six of us, that day, for only €25 per person. The hotel was lovely, two superb swimming pools.Anyway, the course was great. We decided to play that afternoon and got on the course no problems. The course wouldnt allow buggies, but given the increadible amount of rain from the strom it was understandable. The course was in good shape given the preceding weather, and we played in glorious sunshine and heat. The course is pretty varied with some long wide open hoels, some big hills around the middle of the course and some significant water hazards. On the whole it is pretty forgiving.
While not quite up to the standard of La Manga courses, it was a great round in a great location for anyone who might miss their flight back home ;o)
As with the curses at La Manag, weirdly no halfway hut and no drinks buggy doing the rounds. SHame given that it was raosting hot and we were hungover!

This is really good playing in Spain great weather Great value for money yes I would recommend it to my fellow golfers and yes I would revisit this course again

Had another great day at El Plantio, course was in good condition considering lack of rain some fairways abit patchy but not unplayable, some tee boxes under repair which is good to see, staff in the shop and clubhouse excellant very friendly and welcoming, my biggest critizism is that there are no bins and benches at the tee boxes with exception of the 10th, a small investment would make it a far better experience.

the course is in very good condition given the summer months, some work to here an there but all in all very enjoyable and will be playing again.

A very enjoyable course where it's very important to plan your way round as you can quite easily find yourself out of position on many holes. There has been a marked, recent, improvement in the quality of the fairways and the greens which added to the overall enjoyment of the round. I would definitely recommend a visit to El Plantio.

A nice course
We had a good day here. although at 75 euro a round. given the course condition due to hot weather we thought it a bit expensive. A couple of really challenging holes, and I think buggies a must. Disappointed when we went to the 19th after the round as it was shut due to a wedding reception,and we had a couple of hour wait for our hotel transfer.Reviewer Rating

We had a great round of golf . The greens appeared to be a little slow and i struggled to get the pace left about 5 shots on the course.

Very nice course, fairways bordered by trees, various water to avoid, walkable and some lovely views from the highest hole number 14. Played December but quite green unlike nearby Font Del Llop which was bone dry. Usual problem of footprints everywhere in bunkers but that\'s normal for holiday golf. Quite tight and not the usual huge resort trek from green to the next tee. 4 hrs 10 minutes for a two ball, not bad with some delays due to 4 ball a few groups ahead.
