to be fair, the price was very good. however, the course was not. The greens were terrible and the fairways poor. The area around most of the greens looked like a building site. The staff were very freindly and there are no faults there. The course has a fantastic layout though and could be amazing if it were looked after and bought up to standard.

The course has potential to be very good with some great holes but the greens were shocking. There are wild boars the also wreck the fairways and other areas during the night.\The staff were very helpful. \The new club house is under construction so it was a bit of a building site at the time. The club house and shop were small but only temporary.

Really nice course but walking is not an option...so buggies are a must. Great clubhouse and the best golf/Pro shop in the region. Also great food is served here!

Course in reasonably good condition, greens were good. Staff in pro shop friendly.
Stock in Food and drink shop on course needs to be increased, only 1 baguette left at 1.30 .

You need to very accurate off the tee, as many blind landings, which leads to fruitless searches for balls. In short, a ball eater if not playing well on first visit. Greens in good condition but sometimes pin placements were ludicrous. Too tough for me. Clubhouse still not ready, and when asked starter said 'May or June or..'

Lovely course. Very playable I just had a shocker. You have to have a buggy going round here as it would be a killer to walk the course.

played in april 2013 and 2014. The course is very hilly and spectacular, it had some damage to the greens last time we played due to salt water and also fairway damage on the first due to wild boar. The welcome though is always friendly and this is a very good test of golf and an underrated layout. It also represents great value for money and if the facilities eventually become uprated it will take its place as one of the better tracks in the area.

A huge piece of real estate, plenty of room to open your shoulders and have a real bash.

A little scruffy in places with limited facilities, however good value and very accommodating.

Overall layout of the course is good and gets very testing in parts. Green conditions were poor and course needs a bit of TLC!

A testing course for golfers of any level. Good deals offered. Course condition has steadily improved during the year and the fairways and greens are in great condition this summer. Don't leave valuables in your bag or buggy!

Calanova has beautiful scenery and a very competitive price. The greens were very average and the fairways had boggy parts and bold patches, but that aside the course was very interesting and challenging. As a mid to high handicapper I would play this course again and thoroughly enjoyed it. Do have to watch out for Romanian and Moroccan immigrants stealing stuff from buggies.

A recently opened course, it's greens have yet to reach their best quality. However this is more than reflected in the cost of a round and is probably one of the cheapest courses on the Costa at the moment. It is an interesting and challenging layout in the hills behind Fuengirola. It can be breezy up there at times but during the warm weather it is ideal.

This is a very young course and, typically, very hilly. It has some beautiful shaped holes and there is enough of a challenge for golfers of all levels. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.
