It is surprising that for this time of year there are far too many bare patches on the fairways. Think they have been cut too short

Anoreta Golf

The well kept greens and fairways are spoilt by the majority of tees which are in very poor condition. They are not flat, with most having a mound meaning your feet are not level. Also, most are worn away with too much sand placed on them, so difficult to balance.

We arrived to find there was no club shop and had to borrow balls from other golfers. Unacceptable

A challenging, narrow course where accuracy off the tee is vital. There are quite a number of blind shots which increases the difficulty.

I regularly play this course on my visits to Spain. It is a tight course, with some challenging holes. Accuracy of the tee is essential. The greens are usually well kept and are a good test of your putting. However at the moment there is little sand in the bunkers and the groundstaff insist on soaking the fairways which often ruins approach shots.
