Good course and greens where immaculate, only down side was there was not enough water fillers as 35 degree heat isn't fun

Hard courses. Advisable to take a cart. Long walk between 2 X nines. Some bunkers and green surrounds could have been better maintained.

course in good condition, greens very fast and green fee was fair, only negative was some of the bunkers were untidy around the edges

A firm favourite
Generally very well kept and three distinct 9-holes give it a variety of challenges. Interesting use of the contours of the land, plus plenty of water holes. Always happy to go back there.Reviewer Rating

Excellent value for money
My wife and I have stayed and Almenara three times over the past six years and each time we have not been disappointed. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The three courses are of a very good standard. An added feature is that the complex is also very near San Rogue and Alcaidesa which have excellent courses as well.Reviewer Rating

Very Quiet
I played at 0800 and the weather was glorious and the course desertedGenerally in good condition but the greens were in need of some attention

Great holiday courses - water hazards, elevation changes, nice scenery.
Generally in very good condition with the exception of the bunkers which were poor. Unraked wet sand.

I agree withe the earlier reviewers!
Great greens, great views and helpful friendly staff.
Slight damage caused by the local wild boars but I would happily return.
Hotel and thier staff were equally good, likewise the "on site" spa but the resturant (for dinner) seemed expensive. Local off site resturant at Guadiaro (La Terrazade) offered better value and food was really good.

A hard walk so a buggy recommended if it is hot - some fun holes and I would certainly return.
