Tough course if playing in the summer sun and carrying. Need to be mountain goat fit. Some great holes.

"Troia the Destroyer" is an apt name for this challenging lay out but it is simply another Portuguese "must play". Small greens, narrow fairways lined by sandy wastes, I found the 3 wood coming our regularly on the tee. Lovely location and well worth a detour.

I have very fond memories of this course and always wanted to return to play it after first playing it in the 90's it did not disappoint it is still a tough layout with great views across the estuary

Must visit
A lovely very challenging course built on a sandy peninsula reached by ferry. Tight tree lined fairways with sand off that punishes wayward shots. Slow small but true greens and some very challenging approaches. Blind 18th green approach disappointing. Nice clubhouse. Very much worth the effort to visit it.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 12.8)

A real test, especially if the wind is blowing from the sea. Fairways, Greens and Bunkers in Great condition. A lovely clubhouse to relax in after a round, no complaints, we loved it
