This is one to remember and one I will be back to you in April this year. Many challenging holes all to be enjoyed. Lovely facilities and we had beuairful weather which made the experience one to remember.

Greens true and in good condition. Fairways indifferent and in places poor. Good organisation of our day. Very good clubhouse facilities and a friendly welcome.

Championship course in great condition, back 9 hardest I have ever played mind you it was blowing a hoolie!!

We played this course twice and really enjoyed it, although it got the better of us!
A very pretty course set amongst the Sintra hills. Pretty hilly, with some long links between holes so likely to be tiring on a hot day, but fine for us in a buggy.
The course was in good condition, with slick greens and a real challenge.
We were staying in the adjoining hotel and had a great deal to include the golf, although the cost of the buggy at Euro60 - a joke!
Great level of service and friendly staff.
Only other negative vibe was the lack of control at speed of play around the course. As a 2 ball we finished almost 50minutes ahead of the 4 ball family group behind us. Had we been behind this group we would have been less than pleased.
Looking forward to returning to Penha Longa

Good layout but very poor fairways and expensive. Played here on Thursday 26th June 2016 and the Head Green Keeper should be sacked for presenting fairways in the condition we experienced - I have played from shorter semi rough. Greens were good but with such long wet fairways the course was ridiculously long.
€70 euros a round green fee was an absolute joke (€50 for a buggy wasn't much better). We will not be returning and unless they seriously improve the condition of this course I suggest you save your money and play elsewhere.

Another interesting and challenging courses near Lisbon. It is a tough course particularly the front nine. An interesting and enjoyable last four holes but maybe it's always easier to enjoy if you are playing well. Nice ar threes.

A course kept in excellent condition in a lovely setting and with historic buildings forming the boundary to some holes, probably Roman or similar.
The pick for me was the 9th.

Heavy rain for most of the front nine, but this could still not distract from what is a really good course,if playing on a lisbon golf passport this is must on your itinerary,clubhouse impressive also.
