What the club says: Hilversumsche Golf Club is one of the most exclusive clubs in the Netherlands, however you can still get a midweek game if you book in advance. This beautiful course winds through the forest and the woods, and was designed by Harry Colt in 1910. The course has hosted various competitions including the Dutch Open 25 years between 1987-2012. The course has a tough 5 par at both the beginning and end. In many ways Hilversumsche is reminiscent of the brilliant heathland courses near London and the sandy subsoil makes for superb all-year-round-play.
