Challenging
"Playing at Famosa was both enjoyable and demanding. The course itself offers a good challenge with its layout, but the hot weather made the round even tougher. Like to play at A?Famosa Golf Club which is scenic yet demanding course that constantly tests strategy and skill. Its long fairways, varied slopes, and cleverly placed hazards make every round feel fresh, even for regular players.
The Palm course is the most picturesque, with tree-lined fairways and water hazards blending into the natural terrain. Rock Valley offers rocky outcrops and elevation changes, forcing golfers to adapt to uneven lies. Crocodile course is famous for its water features and tricky greens, demanding precise shot placement.
Gentle undulations and slopes across the fairways challenge golfers to plan each shot carefully. Hazards are strategically placed, ensuring that even experienced players must think ahead. Greens are known to be fast and terrain-sensitive, making putting a true test of touch and patience.
Frequent players often remark that the course never feels repetitive, thanks to its varied design and constant need for tactical play.

Fantastic day of golfing
A Famosa Country And Golf Club is known for its scenic layout and challenging holes, so having fairways that hold up well even after rain makes the experience even better. Wet conditions often make courses soggy or slow, but when the turf drains properly, it keeps the game enjoyable and consistent. Played with loosing even single ball after rain because of no soggy. Only thing is that ball has no extra rolling.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic fairway
A'Famosa Golf Resort is a 27-hole championship golf course designed by Ross C. Watson. It is recognized as one of the Top Ten Courses in Malaysia and features three distinct nines: Rocky 9, Palm 9, and Crocodile 9. The fairways are beautifully landscaped with lakes, rocks, and tropical flora, making it a scenic and enjoyable course.If you're looking for a fantastic fairway experience, the Palm Course is particularly attractive, with well-contoured fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The Rockies Nine offers stunning boulder outcrops, while the Crocodile Nine even has a pit where real crocodiles reside!

I like this course especially it's well maintained fairway and green. I also can play at any weather, be it after rain or sunny days as the fairway still give me what I plan for.

Challenging
A Famosa Golf Course definitely has a reputation for keeping golfers/me on their toes! With its 27-hole layout and a mix of water hazards, rocky outcrops, and undulating fairways, it demands solid course management. The Palm course is known for its picturesque scenery, while the Rockies course adds a unique challenge with its rugged terrain. Played on weekend, not at center of Melaka town good for vacation with family. Golf course quit friendly but less maintenance. Fairway not so good. Greenfee not so expensive but caddy is below expectation.
