Set in the dunes and woods right on the French coast an hour south of Calais this is a course to bring out the best in anyones game and bite back if you are having an off day.
You have to think about virtually every shot. If you keep it straight scoring can be very good, but you do not need to stray far to drop a few shots. The greens were in excellent order, consistant in speed and interesting to read.
The sound of frogs is a contant companion and the back ground of the quirky holiday homes only adds to the atmosphere.
There was only one down side to this golf course...they would not let us go out and do it all again.
To take a line from the song by Elbow - "One day like this will see me right".

We play this course every year, it is a wonderful test for golfers of all abilities with a wide variety of looks and feel throughout the round. The greens are in superb condition and we wouldn't even consider dropping this baby from our annual pilgrimage!!

Fantasitic
What a lovely track, best in Le Touquet, challenging blind holes. The greens were amazing as where the fairways. The staff are excellent, play again and again.Reviewer Rating

2nd course as part of a long weekend in Le Touquet. Definitely not as good and interesting as the others. Many good holes and beautiful surroundings though.

very tough pin positions
great looking course, pins on front 9 greens all seemed to be at the crest of undulating greens, which made reading the putts a true test!!!A very good , challenging course!

Played this Saturday morning on the way home. Only 30 minutes from the tunnel. Excellent course with fantastic greens and signature last hole over water.

great facility in a beautiful part of the country. an interesting mix of links and parkland. would like to stay at the facility as accommodation looked great.

Hidden gem - must play
Due to maintenance being undertaken at the more well known courses up the road we decided to play at Belle Dune having read reviews on Golfshake. What a decision that was !The course is based within a Eco Village/holiday home parc and set within a forest with a few holes going towards the sea and set within the dunes. The course is extremely well laid out providing variety, no 2 holes the same, a decent test and something just a little bit different. When we played in March the greens were slightly slower than you would expect but still fast, true and with some tough slopes - I'd imagine in warmer weather they would be extremely fast and tough!
Our group was extremely surprised with this course and this is one definitely worth adding to the list if you ever play golf in this area. The layout is great fun and it is always nice when you play a course where you can't really see the hole you've just played or the next hole you will play.
Highly recommend and a must visit for all abilities.

Amazing Course
Played this course on a weekend trip to France. The course was in excellent nick and very challenging in places. I would recommend to anyone visiting Le Touquet to make the trip to Belle Dune and give this a go.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 25.7)

As always an enjoyable experience, sadly the greens were a lot slower then in previous years, fairways had longer grass then usual

Great course
A lovely course, have played it before, layout is amazing. fairways not is great condition at the momwent, but tee boxes and greens and surrounding the greens all great. Well worth playing. Great practice facilities and club house.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 13.3)
