Bad weather but good experience
Played 31st March. Thought we may struggle due to overnight rain and recent rainfall but was very happy. Course conditions were excellent considering the weather. Course nicely stripped. Greens played well. A couple of puddles in the bunkers but not surprising with the weather. New clubhouse extension looks good. Hopefully open for our next visit. Four happy golfers.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, long holes and plenty of dog legs as well. challenging in the wet will definitely try again in warmer weather.

As good as any course I've played
The course is in fantastic condition the tees fairways and in particular the greens are perfect absolutely every putt you can read. The groundstaff are doing a marvelous job(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12)

Fantastic Course
Highly recommend this gem of a course in South Yorkshire. Lovely looking course with various challenges and a monster 600 yard+ par 5.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 104 Handicap: 25.3)

Played on the 3rd August 2021 as a fourball and am looking forward to playing the course again soon. Found the criss crossing of the old railway line led to some long distances between green and next tee. The grass on the greens seemed a tad long and fluffy however these are minor criticisms to what is an excellent course. Some testing holes which like the rest of the course were very well presented and a nice bar and lounge area. The 4 players for ?80 is a terrific deal and all four of us would recommend playing here.

Excellent.
First round since re-opening of golf courses. I’m a regular visitor to Styrrup and had a really good day out, course was in very good nick considering a month of frosts and no rain. Greens rolled well, semi and fairways well presented, bunkers very tidy considering no rakes, couple of beers on the patio very enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Its a cracking course in great condition
What a cracking course, a bit of a favourite for me. I was a member here in 2002 and boy hasn't it grown to be a big boy now.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 12.4)

Good value
Played mon 3rd feb. Having not played for a few months due to the prolonged wet South Yorkshire autumn/winter I was pleasantly surprised how dry the course was ( only a couple of wet areas on the 6th hole ) overall course played well, greens a little bobbily but nicely paced, on all normal tee boxes and the bunkers were in good condition ( ground staff were adding new sand on our visit) . Joined up with 2 other visitors as the pace was a little slow in front but stillThoroughly enjoyed our day for 15quid

Cracking course

Enjoyable Round
Despite some long holes this is a very playable course for high handicappers.The fairways are generally open and you don't spend all day in knee high grass looking for your ball.

Good test

this was my first visit here, the courses was in good condition and easy to find your way around with lots of signage directing to the next holefriendly reception in the shop,which was well stocked with a good selection of gear
