The fairways are nice and long (ideal for those seeking to use high numbered woods/long irons) and there are 2 water hazards on the 2nd and 3rd holes in the middle of the fairways which challenges golfers of all abilities as it is capable of catching out those who go for it on low shots or not, as well as behind the 6th green which can catch out those who over-pitch their approach shots.
Trolleys are available to hire, and there is a putting green and practice net, along with a small cafe selling refreshments, pro shop and toilets.
This is a course for all abilities in fantastic condition. I wholeheartedly recommend Yarrow Valley to anybody looking for an excellent 9-hole course in the area - you will not be disappointed!

The 2nd hole is a pain, especially if it's busy as there's usually a few people waiting on this hole, there is a little pitching area for you to practice on tho while your waiting and the practice putting area is also close to the 2nd tee so you won't get bored waiting.
There's only one bunker which hasn't been taken care of and thats on the fourth hole, but i think there currently trying to grow that bunker out.
there are a couple of holes where if you over hit the ball you'll end up down a big hill but other than that its a fairy stress free course and well worth a go if you've got an hour or so to kill.

its £7 for 9 holes and if your a beginner like me this should keep you occupied for around 1 1/2 hours.
the fairway, greens and bunkers are very well kept and its by far the best 9 holer i've played at.
if your in the area and want a quick game then i would highly recommend this course.

Mr Steve Holgate
A great well maintained 9 hole course 8 of which are par 3’s however still requiring mature course management to return a respectable score. Friendly and helpful staff with no sirs and graces. Excellent value for money putting area and nets, great way to spend a relaxing 1 1/2 hoursReviewer Rating

Superb course!
This course is always a pleasure to play, and they work hard to ensure it is always immaculate no matter the weather and has some challenging par 3's. They are always very helpful and friendly.Reviewer Rating

Cracking pay as you play course , good for the learner. Some good hazards for the more experienced player to navigate.
