Its Tough
This course is no walk over, I play off 17 and was more than pleased and a little lucky to come off the course 19 over. Anything off target is punished severely by the very long grasses, and on some of the holes actually reaching the fairways can be a challenge. The greens are some of the best I have played on and very true, which saved my bacon on a couple of holes. The buggies have a GPS system display but ensure that you do not go off track as the buggy stops and locks for a couple of minutes, then tells you to stay on the track when there is no sign of one. Its probably best to get instruction from one of the staff before starting off.Reviewer Rating

Really liked this course - challenging
I played the course twice over a weekend stay over with 9 of my friends. Many of them found this course very challenging with a lot of lost balls all round. But the course was in very good condition and the greens were of a good pace and well maintained. If you want a challenge then look no further. I would definitely come back here and play this again as it really suited my eye. If your lucky like me you can walk away with a good score, but you have to stay focused. The facilities and staff were all very pleasant. Although there was a delay in the food service in the evening, they did compensate us for the delay and there were genuine acceptable reasons for the delay. It didn't really distract too much from the overall quality of the weekend.Reviewer Rating

Sunny golf
Lovely sunny day. Nice facilities including ample driving range although the chipping green needs some work. The course was in good nick. True and very undulating greens whilst not being to fast. Bunkers were awful though. Didn't look like they had been touched in months so we just deemed them all GUR
Halfway house has plenty available but a little priced. Clubhouse decent but again a little on the pricey side.
Only paid £18 for the round so decent value for money

Good Course but long!
Fair course - a good challenge and well maintained. Long walks between some tees but this is due to preserved wildlife habitat areas.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 13.1)

Good course
An excellent course, in great condition with superb greens.A good challenging track without getting silly. Nicely undulating with some challenging greens. There are a few walks from tee to green, but it wouldn't put me off.
Theres water throughout, but you don't really see it until the back 9 where it comes into play a lot more.
I particularly liked the 17th, a great par 3, down over water to a narrow kidney shaped green.
My only criticism is the rough is a bit long, it's not needed to be quite so deep just off the fairway.

Tests your game.
Second visit to Wychwood, is a long walk around a long course, but a fair test of abilities. Real variety in the holes/layout and plenty of water hazards thrown in. Greens were being worked on was the only negative.Reviewer Rating

Worth a Visit
Just come of winter the course was still holding some water. The fairways still a little damp and muddy.
Rough long and hard to play out off Greens on the bobble side.
Would like to play again from May onwards.

Disappointing
A group of 20 of us played here on 10/2/19, if was a disgrace and shouldn’t have been open. I have never seen a course so wet and still being played, shame on the powers that be, because profit clearly comes first and the course very much second. Our four ball looked like we’d been mud wrestling for 5 hours, and we all agreed that such a well laid out course was being abused in these conditions.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
Really enjoyed the welcome and the course, we were made to feel really welcome by the members and the staff. The course has some tricky holes and would be better if you knew your way around before playing. It is a decent walk from green to tee so a buggy could speed your round up a lot.(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 18.9)
