Society day
Wanted to play this course for ages and was no disappointed the staff were very polite and very helpful the breakfast was very good the course was great a very good layout the fairways were very good the greens were fantastic very fast and very true if u get the chance to play wortley go and play it you will not be disappointed(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 82 Handicap: 8.4)

Lovely course, would play again, well established, The fairways were a bit a bare in places but the greens were in great shape.

well worth a visit. challenging course
Played Wortley today (good Friday) course in excellent condition, especially the greens. Fairways a little patchy in places but think like any other course it is still recovering from last years dry spell, Every hole different and challenging. Nothing boring about this course and would highly recommend to any golfer. High praise to groundskeepers and big thank you to pro shop and clubhouse for making us feel very welcome. Will be playing the course again in the near future and looking forward to it. (hopefully a better back 9??)Well done Wortley and thanks again

Fantastic Course - Very Friendly Team
Having played just about every other course in the Yorkshire area we decided a few players from our society should try Wortley GC before we visit en-masse in April 2019. Wow, we were not disappointed, a really friendly greeting from the club pro and immediate feeling of appreciation of our visit. We enjoyed food in the very nice club house and browsed the very good pro shop stock. The course itself, well talk about interesting, every hole has its own challenges and some lovely thought has gone in to where each bunker or green has been placed. Having played just before New Year we returned two days later on NY's day for another round and found the course completely empty, but again enjoyed every minute of it. You have to try this course, its a must.Reviewer Rating

challenging course.highly recommend
Played Worley today 10/08/18.well impressed yet again, greens in excellent condition and quick,dispite the recent hot weather conditions. Definitely not a boring course and every hole different. Well done to all staff concerned and a big thank you to Richard for making us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants somewhere more challenging(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.6)

Great, challenging course
First time playing the course but will definitely be back. Fairways and greens in top condition.......Just a shame I dint hit enough of them.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 17.7)

Top class golf course getting better and better
This is a beauty of a golf course. Established in 1896 its traditional clubhouse and staff provide a very friendly welcome. The 1st tee is away from the clubhouse through a woodland path and the 1st view across the golf course to die for. I love thus course. Not long but you have to be accurate. Greens have been awesome into the autumn. Need to sort the drianage out on 18th as it was on a temp when i played. Whilst parkland each hole does feel like you're in your own world and its definately not 'samey'. Some tough par 4s including the finishing hole. Great value and the food in the clubhouse is good value too.Reviewer Rating

Looks good, well organised
In a society with 17 players. Arrived early and given a friendly welcome. They are obviously well organised. We were given a bottle of red wine for nearest the pin after 2 shots for the par 4 17th.As for the course we had heard rumours old bad greens but only 3 had divots.
