This course is superb ,an old school masterpiece ,very challenging ,but very rewarding.It is not cheap to play ,but you really do get what you pay for with this course

The course is great and is always in superb condition. Well worth a visit. The only issue I have is with the pathetic distance marking on the course. With allot of split level greens getting the distance wrong can make for some interesting first putts. They have a 150 yeard marker that is normally 10 to 15 yeards off the fairway and this makes guesing the yeardage difficult and impossible to pace out. For a course of this standing and cost not to provide more is simply wrong. I am guessing its not "traditional" will be the reason they have not done more.

I played here on a lovely sunny Friday afternoon being entertained through work so was always likley to be a favourable review? Worplesdon did not let me down as it was really lovely place to play golf with picturesque tree lined fairways and a real variety of holes in terms and length and terrain. Stand outs were the beautiful Par 3's. Not especially long if you drive it well but long enough if you are wayward. First class greens throughout and generally very well presented course made for a very impressive course. Also benefits from a fantastic old club house. Sadly played my worst golf of the last 12 months but that did not spoil the day. Can't wait to go back and post a better score.

Superb

Played here yesterday and the course had been set up for the Pro Am which is taking place today. Met and chatted with Colin Montgomerie prior to teeing off so that was a good start!! Course was in the best condition I have seen it. Superbly maintained. Hopefully the water fountains will be reopened after next week as it was a scorcher and needed a lot of water to keep hydrated going round. Pace of play was excellent with not one hold up the whole round. Definately a must play if in the area.

Beautiful course in every aspect

This is a top course set within an area of Surrey abound with well known and must play courses but Worplesdon is one you should add to the top of your list.

The layout is superb with every hole different and a nice mix of par 3s, par 4s and par5s. Off the yellows the course isn't particular long but this makes for a nice challenge for all level of golfers - not to testing for higher hadicap golfers and some great risk and reward holes for better players particular with the greens.

The overall condition of the course was great depsite the recent very hot weather we had and the greens were superb running quick and true. Some of the greens are exceptionally testing with lots of borrows, 2 tier systems and the shap which adds to the appeal of this course. Finally, the setting is beautiful with tall pines lining most fairways and gorse/heather ready test you if you don't stick to the fairways. Highly recommended course worth visting.

Chart Hills

Set in lovely Kent countryside with a great clubhouse and facilities, this course has a character all of its own. Quite difficult with a variety of challenging holes and an undulating scenery. They are still finishing off some of the course improvements but an enjoyable place to play golf.

Excellent Course, marvellous hospitality too!

Lovely day out with local member. Unusually followed a Society who played foursomes so the course kept moving - great idea for societies to endear themselves to the members.
