wonderful Woolton
Played as part of a society day ....lovely bacon butty to start followed by eighteen holes ....the layout is tight but fair & the greens were the best I've played on all year ...pity i couldn't putt but thats another story.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 11.7)

Excellent course. Heavy rain night before meant parts were waterlogged but all greens drained fully. Some greens very spongy but started to harden as the day went on. Same with the fairways.

Played the course on a deal with tee off times. The course was excellent however I appreciate it's hard to determine the standard of golfers booking through tee times , but this is not a course for beginners as we were stuck behind a few. Managed to get past them by playing the 'other side of road' in a different order and managed to by pass the slow playing golfers !! Overall excellent course and facilities !!

Had a good round.Best for me so far this season. Nice course and Greens very good. Friendly members (4 ball let us play through.we were a 2). 18 holes in 3 hours. Will definitely be coming back.

I found this secluded course by chance having been recommended to the club by a friend. my first impressions were that the clubs well kept, the facilities are there for both a low handicapper and also the average player. so I treated myself to a round, ( there currently running a passport to golf, £100 for 6 rounds with a free lesson with the pro ) I played today (10-07-13) and the course was perfect, the greens cut to precisely 3.5mm the fairways well maintained and although not very long it has a challenge for every player. if your not straight or dont think carefully about the placement of your shots you might struggle.
On arrival I tried out the practice nets and green which I must say is better than some courses I`ve played on! I then teed off and enjoyed a quiet round taking in the scenery of the area. its easy to follow round and all the tees bunkers pretty much everything were of a high standard.
But the thing for me was the members and green keepers. each one I saw was very friendly , the green keepers seeing I wasnt a member came over to ask how I was enjoying the course, how it could be improved and offered advice about the holes ahead.
Well a great day was finished with a few pints in the club house relaxing on the benches that overlook the 18th green.
back again on friday and I`ve just submitted my application for membership.

Given the recent adverse weather, the course was excellently presented. Tight fairways but true greens. Recent work on clubhouse looking positive and such friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
