lovely course but quite hilly. played on a very hot day. Club house staff could not have been more attentive and helpful.

With all of the recent weather (rain) we were extremely surprised to find the course open fully and in brilliant condition - high praise top the green keepers I reckon

Nice course however over 5 hours for a 6,000 yeard course is not great fun. APpreciate a society keeps a club running but stronger course management needed especiaally when 3 gorups waiting on a tee for a par 3.

Considering the time of yera the course was in pucker condition with the greens as slick and challenging as ever. Highly recommend this gem to any keen golfers.

A really tough test, need an all round game to get round, and every hole presents a different challenge

I've been playing different courses in the Cardiff and Newport area recently and can safely say this is one of the best around. A real hidden gem!
The greens are immaculate - really true and a high standard. The members are all really nice and polite too, something you don't always find at courses these days.
Only possible downside is the location in terms of you really have to go through some narrow winding lanes to get there.
All in all I'd really recommend playing this course, and will without doubt be returning for another round.

Excellent course with very true greens, and the views are worth the gren fee alone. Will definitely visit again.

Quite possible the best putting greens I have ever played on.
The layout of the course is fantastic. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Over the weekend of 27th/28th July 2013 I played this and The Montgomerie at Celtic Manor. This course was by far in a better condition.
Would love this course to be closer to home so that I could play it more often.
