Interesting, short, course in the sense you play the same 9 holes twice, the second time you tee off from different tee boxes

Nice course but spoilt by the meanderings and inattention of dog walkers and children who have access to the course (common land). However this was at around 7pm on a gorgeous Friday evening so might not always be like that.

A very old essex course 9 holes only which you play twice from 2 sets of tees. With todays equipment, its a bit of a quirky challenge, but I have never completed it under par so I cannot say I find it easy. The greenkeeper ALWAYS blows me away at how he keeps the greens in such great condition, miracle worker, Kenny the pro is very helpful, and the clubhouse is a snug retreat to have a post game snack or pint.

Weather been terrible just wanted to have a round of golf and how lucky was I ! Tee's in good condition. Fairways were better than some others I have played in much better weather conditions. Greens are very well kept. We had a really warm welcome in the clubhouse afterwards from members (is this really a golf club?!?). Cannot wait to go back and play the course again.

Woodford Golf Course is a real hidden gem. Excellent greens and a great test for your short game. Great for a quick round! The Guinness in the bar is decent too!

Just joined my local course and glad to be part of a members only course rather than a corporate run entity. The greens are stunning and recent works on the edges of the course have made it much better.

Now that the edges and bushes around the tees are cleared it is a much clearer view to tee off.

A nine hole course on public land in Woodford. The course itself is nice but not spectacular but the green are superbly kept and would grace most courses. For a nine holer, it is great but that is probably about as far as it goes. Great practice course though wwith one or two lovely holes!!
