Slightly disappointed
The course is normally great! I haven't been in a few months and I was surprised at how rough it was. The fairways were in a ok state but the greens were very patchy and were incredibly sandy!It was still a good round and it's a fun course but i won't be going back for a while

Great course
Challenging heathland course in excellent condition though the greens had recently been spiked. Tight with lots of heather and gorse. Quiet and secluded with a good clubhouse and bar.Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course
Excellent round of golf with 2 members. Course in excellent condition. Very friendly staff in both Pro Shop and bar.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 11.2)

Fantastic Heathland course
Played this for the first time in their open and was impressed. The clubhouse is good, has a nice view of the course and the Practice facilities were good. Course is a tight one in places and you have to plot your way round. Greens were in great nick and putts ran out well. It's got a similar feel to the Hotchkin at Woodhall Spa and I will return next year. If you're in the area, this course is worth a visitReviewer Rating

Really enjoyable heathland course which is a great option in the wetter months as it soaks up any rain fairly well. A great layout of holes where placement off the tee is key.
You should enjoy this course regardless of what handicap you have as it can feel fairly wide and forgiving.

have played a few time and found it to be great but played last week the greens were very poor , slow and had been top dressed and we were not told in advance that work was to be done. lunch was great, but £80 was expensive considering the condition

Great sister course, played early morning on one of the coldest days of the year so greens were like concrete. Definitely worth a visit though.
