Super course, beautiful setting with Wollaton Hall and the lake . Deer running accross the course add a lovely touch.

A very good, mature, parkland course, just a couple of miles from Nottingham city centre.
A tough start to the round on holes 1-6, the exception being the par 3 2nd, with some long par 4s and a par 5, which compared to the rest of the course are perhaps slightly less interesting.
Greens are in excellent condition and the course in general plays firm all year round - playing very well in the winter relative to other courses.
Back nine is a real delight, with far more changes in elevation and varied holes; if playing straight it also offers better chances to make a score. Plenty of wild deer roaming the course add to the interest, and with Wollaton Hall overlooking much of the back nine there are some great views (difficult 14th hole would be my highlight).
Not cheap if not playing with a member, but well worth a twilight visit.

Played here on Friday 3rd. May 2013. The course and surroundings were in excellent condition. Everyone involved at the club was very friendly. The Deer that roamed the course were an added benefit. Would recommend to anyone.

A very nice course to play with wild dear running wild within the course grounds and you are consistently within a few meters of them

Not the cheapest of courses, no deals to be had! But if you want to play at one of Nottinghams finest courses then this should be on the list. A well laid out course with some testing holes. Greens were superb when we played, fairways could've done with a sprinkle of water, but still in very good condition... May be a tad on the long side for some player tho and high handicappers may struggle because of it? In some respect its quite reminiscent of the back 9 at the forest of Arden (including the Deer!) Well worth a visit.

Visiting Nottingham with the other half, clubs in the boot of the car 
Turned up unannounced with my clubs to play a one ball and was accommodated for without hesitation. Lovely setting with some interesting holes. A number of par 4's over 400 yards keeps you honest. Course in remarkable condition considering the unrelenting rain over recent weeks (a couple of temporary greens but I was amazed there weren't more).

SOCIETY DAY
Several years since we played here. Great golf course in the heart of Nottingham. So quiet and peaceful. As always the course is immaculate and the club catered well for us and were most friendly and helpful.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 24)
