Tough course when playing directly into the wind. Fairways are generous but the the thick rough is punishing. Club house area is being rebuilt after fire.

Recently built course that will mature well. A few lack lustre holes that are quite forgettable and not the longest in existence ... probably four/five holes which are less 350 in length. Definitely Home advantage as some holes can smash a driver to more favourable positions.

although the course is in fair condition, a lot of fairways are extremely narrow(not enjoyable I\'m sure for higher handicap golfers. I certainly wont play there again) and if they want to attract lower handicap players the whole course should be of a much better quality. some of the rough quite frankly is stupid

The golf course was very nice. The holes were varied made you think a bit. Placing of long irons important. Would like to play again as I would play slightly different. The bar as most bars connected with a hotel was pricey. £22 for 4 drinks is a bit steep. Still £12 for a round through Tee times fantastic value!

On a VERY windy day this course showed it's teeth! This is a TOUGH scoring course but is enjoyable as it is well-designed. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Fabulous welcome and very helpful staff. Sadly the greens had been hollow tined, (get that it needs to be done) but very bumpy. The round was also pretty slow with a group in front playing off the medal tees and sadly, they were not up to the task. It is a generous course which gives plenty of opportunity to score well even if you are not on top of your game as there is room to be a bit wayward. Would play again.

16 of us played here on 13th-14th October. We were a little worried as there were a lot of negative comments about the golf course being busy the greens being rubbish etc. We were actually pleasantly surprised. The hotel was fine - beer expensive tho. The course was in need of some tlc on the fairways but the greens were excellent and very true despite previous comments on various sites. They could make this into a top notch course with a little investment and a bit of hard work. I didn't play particularly well and should have done better of 11 but thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the golf course

it is a very good course, it has lots of hazards and challenges even for a good player. its grass is good and cut daily by the greenskeepers. To some people the holes can be easy but there are holes that might make your scorecard a bit higher than you prefer.

played in our yearly society last weekend, had had great deal for 3 nights, drinks are expensive in the bar and we did find the service in the restuarant below par, overall an enjoyable stay though

Played at Wokefield Park in our yearly society last weekend. Course was fantastic, 2nd year in a row we have come to wokefield park we were made very welcome, great deal for 3 nights and 4 rounds of golf with free wine and range balls thrown in, look forward to next year already

Staff at the pro-shop were outstanding. First class service in every respect.
The course is an excellent track with lots of variation and interest for all levels. I played in a large group on a society that had h'caps 9-28 and all enjoyed the course. On our visit the greens were being treated and this was disappointing, but I suppose they have to be done at some time.
Members very friendly, and clearly very proud of their club.
For those on a 'break' I will note that the hotel complex is decent enough, the bar is pricey but excellent venue, the spa is ok but nothing special, the dinner and breakfast both very good standard fayre and plenty of it. Expect to be surrounded by corporate guests on training etc.
All in all, very good indeed. Good class facilities with relaxed welcoming attitude. Thoroughlly recommend, an excellent 'golfbreak'.
