As always a pleasure to play at Woburn, friendly and very good facilities. Course damp after recent snow but still very playable

Great course, even in the wet
Played in the pouring rain and enjoyed it, which is unlike me. Would like to play in the dry as ball didn't run far but at least I coped with the greens, which still played well. Was only disappointed with the amount of people who clearly don't replace their divots. My ball got stuck in a few of them instead of running on a few yards. As with most courses a few signs towards the next tee would also help.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 131 Handicap: 28)

Renowned by members as the tightest of the 3 courses at Woburn. Certainly has the smallest greens. Somewhere special to play. 70 quid with a member. Well north of 100 if you book as visitors which is miles too much. Since it is mainly played by members it is amazing how many pitch marks aren't repaired on the greens. Hardly any divots replaced on the otherwise excellent fairways. Still a grand day out though.

great venue ,quite expensive but well worth the visis ,great track quite hard ,you need to know your distances and be very accurate or you will score bad

Played late March on a free round for being a marshall at the British Masters in 2015. The Marquess was the only Woburn course I had not played, and 3 of us took it on in slightly wet conditions.
Warned by the starter that this is the worst draining course of the 3, we found it quite long, and hilly enough for my electric trolley to be almost drained at the end.
Tees and greens were obviously excellent. Fairways less so, with some patchwork apparent. We were also told it was being prepared for the Ricoh Ladies Open at the end of July, so it has some time to get up to scratch.
Only visited one bunker, but it was perfect. Greens were very quick, and with some vicious slopes, resulting in 38 putts for me.
Practice facilities at Woburn are first class, so if you're playing any of the courses - give yourself time to check out what is available. Course guide was expensive at £6 per course, and not particularly well designed (yardages from the back tees only) Distances on sprinkler heads are all to front of greens, and there is no system to show how far on the green the pins are.
I love the courses, but overall they are too expensive for the average club golfer; especially pensioners like me!

One of the best kept courses in the UK and a pleasure to play as often as possible.
A little wet underfoot but understandable given the amount of rain received in the last 2 weeks. Many other courses are unplayable!
