Gem on the Wirral
Excellent greens.Each shot requires placing with care to avoid wonderful trees and slight doglegs.Less than 6000 yards of pleasure.Nice clubhouse and staff and friendly Pro.You should play.

Played yesterday and despite being "winter conditions" the course is standing up really well. Pretty well drained, all greens on and although some forward tees and a couple of mats it was great. I would think it compares very well with other courses for the time of year. Good fish finger butties in the clubhouse or alternatively great scones.

What a great course. If you are a little short on time then this is a great course to play BUT do not be complacent - you have to be straight. Don't worry about the name - it's not just for ladies. The greens are very good, it is easy walking and very pretty. Clubhouse facilities are fine. I would imagine it will be well drained in winter and well worth a visit.

Played this course on a windy day but cant blame the weather for my poor round, tight, flat but well kept course, normally £40 a round but book late and you can get on for £13 which is a bargain, club Pro Angus was very helpful.

The course is is pristine condition. The greens are fabulous and the course is a good test of golf. Take care with your shot to the green - it can be difficult to make it as the greens are small and many well defended by bunkers. A good days golf without being exhausting. Lovely pleasant walking.

Greens been spiked so a little slow and the weather has taken its toll in places but all in all a great club and at £12.50 for a members guest represents amazing value. Tight and challenging albeit a little short.

Lovely, well kept course that I would recommend to anyone. Nice fairways, excellent, testing greens and deceptively tricky heathery rough. It may be short but accuracy is essential.
