As I'm still fairly new to golf (three years), Wirral ladies course is a fairly short course that is ideal for me to experience all the challenges of playing a course without having the struggle of really long holes that I'm not quite ready for. It's a beautiful environment for me to hone my skills.
My husband played the course too (he has played for 30+ years and he thoroughly enjoyed it too.
The course is beautifully maintained and most of the greens were perfect.

Great course especially for short game
This is a lovely short golf course which is well presented and will help you work on all aspects of your game. The course is not long but there are some interesting and challenging holes. It is well worth a visit and rarely closed even in the worst weather due to excellent drainage systems. The greens are consistent and run true also.Reviewer Rating

Great course for short game
I love this course. It is short but has a number of challenging holes and no 2 holes are the same. I recommend it comprehensively and often visit in order to sharpen up my short game before a golf wekendReviewer Rating

Great little course
Great little course (no par 5’s) not too long but still challenging. Played 23rd June in ideal conditions, greens in excellent condition.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.1)

Really good course, worth a visit.
Even with 48 hours constant rain before my visit, the course was in fantastic condition and the greens were superb.Ok, there were some isolated wet spots and a few bunkers were still holding water but considering the amount of rain that had fallen this was only to be expected and it did not spoil our enjoyment.
There was also a warm and friendly welcome in the clubhouse and pro shop. I'll certainly be back.

Great course in superb condition
This is the second time I have played this course in 2 months and the condition of the course was again superb. Fairways and bunkers were in great condition and the greens were superb (although very quick and testing). Pro in the shop was extremely helpful and would definitely play this course again!!(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.6)

Great course.

Fantastic course
Had an amazing experience at Wirral golf club on 11th may. Course was great condition as it is only short you definitely need to think about your club selection. The greens were true. Staff were very friendly and food was of a good standard. Defiantly be going back as a society as the course it suited to all handicapsReviewer Rating
