A true hidden gem winterfield is the best course i have played in recent times the sea views are awseome and remind me off pebble beach!
I would highly recomend this course to anyone im thinking off getting a membership even though im based in syria!

Great golf course.I recommend any body to play this course. The greenkepers do an excellent job.The two golf pro's who run this course do a fantastic service.

Today was the 1st time playing Winterfield, and It wont be my last.... Breathtaking. This course is maintained to a standard that Augusta would be proud of. Plesent greenstaff who stopped working when playing the hole, and offered some good advice on some of the tricky holes such as 4th, 11th and 18th. With the likes of Archerfield and The Renaissance near by this is by far the better out the 3.

This course is truly a hidden gem its on par with muirfield and far superior to gullane and north berwick.\The new bunker at the 17th wouldnt be out of place st st andrews.\67 less 28 net 49

great links course
recommend to any player. If you want a first tee off par 3 challenge this is the course for you. some bunkers on the course are under repair. A new kidney shaped bunker is being built on the only par 5 on the 17th hole.

WOW!!!winterfield really is paradise I\'ve played here many times and each time I love the course more and more.the first hole is without doubt the hardest par 3 in Scotland.\My favourite hole has to be the 18th my main aim here is to hit the green keepers shed with my tee shot.

overall this is an excellent links course to play. like all links courses the wind is a big factor but the more times you play here you will get used to it.

Driving down the driveway to St Margarets clubhouse i remember Big Jock saying to me 'wow...what a great course with great views'...he wasnt wrong. I can honestly say....in a few years i think either The Open or Ryder Cup will be hosted here.

I had the great pleasure off playing winterfield on a friends birthday.
When i arrived and so the layout.i was amazed due to the cheap price.
There are several worldclass holes but my particular favourite was the par 3 fourth which is undoubtley one off the toughest holes in britain.
I think with some fine tuning winterfield has the potential to hold a european tour event.

Best value Links golf in East Lothian.... fantastic views over Belhaven Bay. Like everywhere in 2022 the course was very dry but the greens were excellent.

Long par 3’s
This was meant to be an easy start to our golf trip to Scotland, buti was needing my driver on some of the par 3s and therewas a few. The opening hole par 3 over a ravine was over 200yards, there were some lovely holes with great views. Greens were hard if you can get spin on the ball you stand a chance to hold them, i can’t. But a lovely course and friendly staff(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 80 Handicap: 14.3)
