Beautiful course beautiful location
Booked for 08:04 but arrived 07:30 with no other players in sight. Ground staff busy at work. The first is quirky with the challenge of negotiating a decent natural obstacle and away we went.The fairways were well maintained well cut and clear of cuttings. The free we're even better and quick as!! There are some interesting challenging holes and the views outstanding. Well worth a visit if you get the chance.
One minor gripe was the solo female playing two balls that tee?d off after us and challenged us about teeing off early, much like she had!! She is the reason I would never join a golf club. She as good as told us she would be playing through and questioned out tee time. I chose not to question hers, or the playing of two balls or the fact the playing solo she should really wait. Had she however have spoken to guests at her club a little more politely we would happily have invited her to play through, even playing two balls.
As long as you tee off after 07:56 you will really enjoy your day out on a wonderful course. It's short and without bunkers but the challenge makes up for it. Good luck

Beautiful course
Beautiful scenic course in the lakes, very welcoming, lovely lady in the clubhouse called Kathy who was very accommodating. The course was in amazing condition also.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 109 Handicap: 31.6)

Great course
Very undulating but all holes are different. It is a great challenge and the greens are very true but fast and difficult to read but a fair test.Reviewer Rating

Ace challenging course but short
Great course very challenging. Overall was a little too short but wasn't a problem. Was in immaculate condition and greens is good order. Unusual not to see a single bunker but there were enough hazards without these. Will be back to play soon but not sure we?ll have a pint at ?4.90 a goReviewer Rating

Although extremely short, Windermere is very testing. The driver won't come out of the bag very often around this course as you must be accurate. There are a few blind approach shots that can cause problems for some golfers but once you've played the course once and got a feel for it, these shouldn't be a problem. To add, there are some incredible views to behold throughout at the golf course.Reviewer Rating

Did this course as part of a Groupon deal. Good couple of hours with the Pro , Simon. Course is very hilly with a lot of blind shots. Very unforgiving course but well looked after, nice views and good club shop. Makes you think about your shot selection

Played Kendal and Windermere on the same day, Kendal had the better views and some more exciting gold holes, but what Windermere lacked in the wow factor it made it up in the condition and presentation of the course, really well maintained greens and lush fairways. Enjoyable round of golf. Disappointing round given how short the course is (5 Par 4'a under or around the 300yrd mark). Shot 14 off 12 h'cap but only hit 2 fairways and 1 green which show's how tight it can play. Would visit again for sure.
