Very tight course not much use for a driver if you can't keep it straight!!
Greens very close to next tees so could imagine it to be a very long round if course was busy.
Hard to navigate around if a visitor.

Course in very good condition. Only downside very compact and have cross few fairways to get to next tee area. Overall excellent course in top condition. Staff also very friendly

Lovely course in very good condition. Course and greens dry and drained well after rainfall last night. Greens moderate / fast speed, dry, well maintained, consistent, no pitch marks or misuse. Well looked after, a pleasure to see. Tee boxes in good condition. Well maintained. Tee locations a little strang. If new to the course (my second time) be very aware of some crisis crossing with Tee locations crossing over other fairways. One or two are hidden and you just can't see when your Teeing off. Tees and greens are all close (very close in some places!) to each other. Much course management and playing etiquette required. Fairways are mainly straight and narrow, uncomplicated really, but shots must be straight to find fairways. Never found a bunker, but they appeared well looked after, but sand very firm and compact in some. An irons course for my liking, my party never used driver once due to narrow tree lined fairways. Fairways close to each other so need constant vigilance with balls flying through trees and rickotcheting, which some golfers may find frustrating. Only a single practice net available for warm up. Need another. But least there is a net. Practice putting green available, did not use, appearance looked good though. Pro shop very friendly and welcoming. Did not visit Clubhouse on this occasion. Cost was £25 each via Tee Times, would not pay the going £30 visitor price as there is better value for money around at that price. On the whole, a lovely course in a nice setting. I do recommend and will visit again if Tee Times prices are right.

I played the course in bad rain yet the greens were still very good and the course was still playable

Short tree lined course where tees and greens can be quite close to one another. The course was in very good condition, greens were fast and true with the bunkers being adequate. The pro shop wasn't open either before or after my round, but a short trip to the bar to pay my £20 Green fee was enough to get me on my way. A course I will play again.

nice course but green sanded and some tees close to greens, called in a couple of days before playing to ask for early tee slot, was told by pro shop staff that I could tee off early and pay after game thought this was nice and we did this but when later I went into club house to pay (pro shop still shut) I was told off by a lady staff member for doing this even though I explained to her what I was told I could do, she should have been talking to shop staff about this matter and not my party, will I return maybe not

Lovely course. Greens as good as any course, very tight and a real challenge. Easy course if you hit the ball dead straight. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
