A great course in a lovely setting, it's surprising Whitehill doesn't have a bigger reputation. We loved the undulating fairways and risk/reward challenge!

I have always known about this course but no one has said how good it is that is why i have never played here.This course is excellent the greens are superb and a real test to any handicap . i cant wait to play here again.

Magnificent Views
Having played a couple of the supposed "better courses" recently I found that they had been scarred but last years hot summer, Whitehills, however, stands out with beautiful lush fairways and excellent greens.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17.3)

Excellent course. In great condition for time of year. Thoroughly enjoy playing this course as each time there is a new challenge due to tee and flag positions as well as overall course layout.

Well worth a visit!
Bit of a hidden gem, I say this because it feels like you are driving in to the middle of no where to get to the course. Both over the phone and arriving at the course the receptionists were lovely. The course itself despite all the rain the night before was surprisingly good, there is a good mix of holes and the fairways fairly wide, nice for giving the driver a good run out! The fairways were decent and firmer than expected and the greens some of the best I've played in the area (albeit a bit wet from all the rain but they ran true). I?ll definitely be visiting again. At ?30 a round it's perhaps a bit more than other courses in the area but definitely worth spending that bit more.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course set in Hertfordshire countryside. Friendly staff. The course challenges the golfer both physically and mentally. Fantastic!

Really good condition

Great hidden gem
Played this course for first time in about 30 years, then it was very new and very much newly shaped farm land, I am so glad i got to play there again as course is so much more mature and greens are very good. Its qute hilly so consider a buggy. Has a friendly clubhouse with well stocked pro shop, we had breakfast and lunch and was very happy with both. Good driving range with practice bunker. Worth to mention many blind spots so beware people playing up to you,.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 14)

Best course for miles around
Whitehill may be a bit difficult to find but it's well worth the effort for the joy of playing golf on a brilliantly maintained course in a beautiful quiet rural settingReviewer Rating
