Worth the visit

Worth a visit
Having never played this course before I didn’t know what to expect, what a great course, in fantastic condition all round from the tee to the fairway to the greens. Will definitely be back(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 29.6)

Spent the weekend in western Turville visiting family and was lucky enough to get the chance to play this course. I\'m a complete beginner and this was the first course I\'d been invited to play, it was brilliant. The course was beautiful the weather stayed with us all the way over three days and I had a great introduction to this golf club. The staff couldn\'t have been more friendly and the other members I had the chance to meet both on and off the course made me feel very welcome . The club is under renovation but it was business as usual for all concerned, no interruption to the high level of service I received. I understand there are plans to extend the facilities at the club in the future with the addition of a hotel. I\'m so looking forward to being able to take full advantage of this and play again on this lovely course. Thank you to western Turville golf club for making my weekend so spaeical .

Played Weston Turville September 19th. Course quite flat but well laid out to ensure few easy holes. Some tight fairways and most holes tree lined so driver not needed on all longer holes where irons a better bet. Greens and fairways in super condition although some bunkers need raking after recent rain has compacted them too much. All club officials and fellow players we encountered made us feel very welcome and Sarah in the Pro Shop even marked our card about course layout, the cross over holes and general club/course info. A nice pint of Tribute before we left rounded off a very pleasant days golf. Recommended.

Course is getting better and better - don't take notice of reviews saying bunkers are terrible they were post covid lock downs but now properly maintained and the greens have been hollow tined twice a year and sanded properly despite all recent rain they are playing well fairways and tees well maintained - new management driving improvements both on and off the course - clubhouse catering is infinitely better than a year ago - good selection of hot food and snacks, good range of sandwiches and great home made cakes

Very good
Enjoyed my round. The greens were rolling well and ran true. Overall for October the course was in good condition. Long Walk between some greens and tees but not too bad. I was unsure about some holes criss crossing but as long as you keep your wits about you it doesn't really factor. I enjoyed my game and will definitely play here again(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 11.3)

Very good
Played here in October and the greens were in good condition. Long walks between some of the greens and tees but overall not too bad. Wasn't sure about the situation where some of the tees and fairways criss cross but if you have your wits about you it doesn't really affect your game.
