Fine fettle in early autumn
Friendly Club welcomed with panache and style! Greens great, general condition of course very good. Pity we played on a multiple society day which meant for slow play and a 5 hour round for my Fourball. Facilities first class particularly the driving and chipping areas. Will return hopefully on a quieter day!Reviewer Rating

A very well kept course. A good variety of holes, some quite difficult. Greens are true and quick. Very nice club house, with good outdoor seating.

A lovely course and great greens but won't return any time soon . Took 5 and half hours to get round with our Society expecting 4 hours at most And coffee served in Styrofoam cups.Reviewer Rating

Good looking woodland course
Really enjoyable course. Have played it twice now in summer and winter. Some signature holes. To score well you'll need to shape it both ways so you can't just whack a driver. Impressive clubhouse with friendly people. Paid £35 and on balance that was decent value. Will play again.Reviewer Rating

Fewer trees & wider fairways
Over the last 9 months hundreds of trees have been taken out to improve airflow around the tees and greens that have also helped to speed up play. However, there’s still plenty of trees left to catch wayward shots but the works so far have opened up the course as trees were steadily encroaching and making some approaches tight. A great course over the years but in my opinion been spoilt by taking out over 500 trees . It has made the course easier but not as nice

In good condition. Greens need rolling
Itsa been some time since I last played here. Noticibaly a lot of undergrowth and trees gone, especially on 12th. Course in good condition. Don't know too much about bunkers as no one went in one! Green a bit bumpy. Lots of evidence of pitchmarks being not recovered. Could do with rolling some of the greens. Greens also seedingso made them slower.
