Pricey, but a class above

A challenging and engaging course in wonderful condition. The heather is tough to play out of so plotting your way round is required. Will play again; it's a great place to spend your day, even if it's more than I usually pay for a round.

Beautiful heathland course

Superb course, need to be straighter off the tee than me but in excellent condition with testing greens. Members very welcoming.

Amazing venue!

Fantastic layout among the heather and pine trees. Some very interesting and picturesque holes and requires good course management.

Fantastic course!

First full 18 round west hill. It’s stunning, remind me a lot of Sunningdale, which is high praise indeed. Lacks a bit of magic but still a pleasure to play.

One to remember!!!!!

West Hill is a superb club in Surrey where the heather features heavily on fairways and rough. This course is exceptional in trying conditions but the reception we received from the captain and his committee was second to none. One to add to your itinerary in Europe and the UK.

Society Day -

Course was in great condition apart from the bunkers as there wasn't enough . sand in them, The greenkeeper had set up pins in quiet difficult spots.


We had bacon roll and coffee and lunch included in the society package. The Game pie with chips and veg was excellent.


Can't wait for next years event.

Brilliant course in great setting

Over 100 years old, challenging, picturesque and a delight to play. Heather instead of rough so good sand iron play essential. Some very challenging greens, especially after club championship!!!

Beautiful Track

Plenty of very pleasing features & lots of variation on this layout. Every hole has its own character.
Lots of care required to plot your way round this Surrey gem! Strong par fours are a highlight and most demand your full attention in order to score well. Some excellent par three's, as well, to challenge the better player too.
Presented in immaculate condition in April 2018 & the ground staff should feel very proud of this beautiful layout. The best greens I've played on in Surrey to date.
Unstuffy easy-going atmosphere in the bar & dining room. Loved it!

Lovely traditional Heathland course

This is truly a gem of a course. We played it in March and was in remarkable condition considering they had had three inches of snow 48 hours before. If you get the chance, treat yourself. Its hard, but fair.

Played as part of a golf day - despite some heavy rain overnight the course held up well- some wet patches around the course but greens were good. We were looked after splendidly well !!

Very overrated

Course very wet: course is well overpriced at £60 for a winter green fee. Very slow round: stuck behind a three ball for the whole round: would not let me through.
