Long Parkland
Nice course the only little downside was the green speeds. Some greens were rock hard and rapid and some were very very soft and slow as hell. That being, its a very well looked after piece of land.Reviewer Rating

Challenging in places
A nice course and great value for money. Some challenging holes and is a course to make you think rather than pull driver on every par 4 and 5. Greens were in great condition, played true and at a good speed. Hospitality before and after the round fantastic as well with fairly priced food and drink. Would certainly play again if in the area.Reviewer Rating

Needs attention
The fairway grass is long and good shots get very little value. Slightly wayward shots even less so. In need of some attention.Reviewer Rating

Ripp Off
Dissapointed!!!!!! got a group of 6 to play this course on Friday 17th July buggy prices were £24 per person Green fees £22. Was not told that work was being carried out on course with some temporary greens and some holes 50 yards shorter than on card with GUR's on fairways and around greens. Will NOT be coming back.Reviewer Rating

Work in progress but still enjoyable
The course appears to be undergoing a fair amount of renovation with tees cordoned off and two temporary greens currently. Not sure quite how committed the works are (a collapsed retaining wall for a tee box seems to have been that way for a while) but the alternative tees have generally been well manicured and the 16 greens in play were in good condition running fairly quick and true.Overall an enjoyable round with fairways in good condition and conifer lined making accuracy more important, the odd water hazard also adds to the experience. Layout is slightly disappointing in that there are only three par 3s, two of which are 170+ yards and none after the 11th. Bunkers were generally poor or GUR.
Friendly staff though and reasonable pace of play.

The ground was rock hard when we played. There were also 2 temporary greens due to work being carried out and other maintenance taking place on the course.
