Superb course
One of the best courses I have played. Great condition and interesting holes, using topography and water to enhance the experience. Staff were excellent too.Reviewer Rating

Spring enjoyment
A perfect spring day for a round of golf. The course was still very soft but played well and was forgiving.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 101 Handicap: 18.7)

Woodworms Society special
For the past 2 years in August and September our small society group has discovered this undulating yet forgiving gem of a course with a variety of challenges, you must accuratley clear the ditches, avoid the water judge the blind holes and just admire the view from the 8th tee which is spectacular. The greens are well kept with a moderate speed and roll. The Pro shop, coffee bar and hotel staff are always very helpful and look forward to playing there againReviewer Rating

Very good but tricky course
Thoroughly enjoyed this very challenging lay out. Scenic holes and tricky blind shots makes for a good challenge on this short but tricky courseWould definitely return

Poor Bobby!
Played here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the course. The holes are varied and present an interesting course management challenge to make you think. To poor "Bobby" the previous reviewer who likened it to a "trek up a mountain" - you must be pretty unfit! Sure it's hilly but its not that arduous and that's what makes many of the holes so interesting. Fairways and greeds were in good conditions but some of the tee boxes were very uneven and poorly kept. The members I encountered were very friendly and it was a pleasure to play there.

An interesting course
The rough is very rough outside the fairways and first cut. so it pays to be straight. Quite hilly so an electric trolley is an advantage.Reviewer Rating

Bobby
Awful experience. Take plenty of fluids. It’s like a trek up a mountain. Tees in rough condition. No bar. No half house. Not enjoyable in the slightest.Reviewer Rating
