very friendly easy going club
They are getting their act into gear regarding the greens. It's a tough job to keep them flat and lush on account of the shade, the leaves and the heavy rain.Fairways good and the clientele marvellously friendly

it is what it is
It's a marvellous course for a short metropolitan 9 holer. The greens are well maintained although a bit patchy in places. Jeanette does well to keep on top of the fairwaysReviewer Rating

A whole lot of fun
This course is so well maintained.A couple of troublesome greens, however, on the whole they are great to play on.Easy to find balls that go under the trees and a warm welcome from all staff.

tired
A lovely location and super layout. Only the building looks tired dilapidated and uncared for. The course is the same. need a lot of manicure. There is a range which is a plus. it is excellent value for money(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 26.3)

This course would suit anybody from the absolute beginner to the single figure handicapper (in fact I started learning here and often take my 8 year old son round).
The course is quite deceptive in the way that you'd expect it to be quite flat being in the middle of a racecourse although this is not the case, and although it measures only 2682 yards I wouldn't say its easy either. There are many trees, bunkers and ditches to catch you out and some of the greens have subtle breaks that at first glance don't seem to be there.
Year round I have found the course to be in top-notch condition from the fairway to the green on every hole.
The course is very popular with local golfers and at £7.00 during the week and £7.50 at weekends its easy to see why.

Nice course
This is a good course to improve your short game. The green were fairly consistent but some needed a bit more attention as they seem to be shaded by large trees that shielded them from natural sunlight.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 44 Handicap: 16
