Don’t waste your time/money, course is so run down. £25 for that. I wouldn’t play it again if they paid me £25. Absolutely awful course. Should be closed down instead of giving golf a bad name.

This review is really hard for me to write, as this is a course I've liked and played for many years, and was the course where I really learned to play golf as a pay and play customer. Sadly though the course management seems to have gone wrong somewhere, fairways were difficult to distinguish from the semi-rough, and the greens were all variable in roll due to grass length being inconsistent. I really hope this is just a temporary blip, because of the very bad weather we've had recently. I'll play the course again, mainly due to nostalgia, but on the strength of what I saw last time out, I couldn't recommend it to anyone else in it's current condition. A real shame, as when it's been good, it's as good a city course as any other.

Blimey best weather in Oct for years and this course has only 16 holes open! Played here last year and green s were in good condition, this year the condition is the same but the green have shrunk, nearly the same size as the pitch and putt at Whitley Bay links.

ThiS is a very nice course , spoilt by 3 holes not in play tee boxes set in some cases 50 yards from normal tee box there is still a large amount of water on the course and the ground is being churned up with people using trollers and golf bags which are too heavy for these conditions
