Plenty Sheep

It closed down about 4 years ago and returned to farmland!

An exquisite course complete with PGA standard greens. Investing in a pencil, chocky bar and lukewarm can of pop is a must before any round. Dress to impress at this 9 hole celtic manor of; the Bolton/Chorley havaianas, swim shorts and a lakers vest are deemed acceptable and make playing the course a comfortable experience. You can get away with a 9 iron on most holes, but why not spice it up - get your driver out on the second and aim for the farmers cow?? The power lines on the third are a slight inconvenience, however this is made up by the fact that you can use your putter on the 6th – who needs to master the flopshot technique when you can roll the ball down the hill for a birdie putt. Line up on the 9th with your finest driver, adding some draw to your shot will hit the old dear’s caravan or those walking down the fairway on the 8th. Great course, many a fond memory here, made more fun when you stick a few cold ones in your golf cart. Well, you wouldn’t want a warm beer, would ya?
