Great course
Had the annual Society Day here and the club is as great as ever.A warm welcome from the club president and Bev running the bar and catering.
The course itself was in excellent condition, fantastic fairways, acceptable rough and the greens very well maintained and manicured. They were a bit slower than we expected but still good.
There?s a number of interesting and challenging holes that keep you concentrating and questioning the club choice!!
The views add to the experience as does the clubhouse and facilities available.
I'm going back sooner rather than later as I can't wait until next years Society day. I recommend the course and do your research, the last two holes require checking

Great Course - Home for me
Despite a lot of heavy rain course has drained quickly and nearly all on summer greens. Great condition for the time of year and boses well for the season! Stroke indicies have changed though...Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course
The course is a great condition at the min. The fairways are nice and tight and the semi has been cut so you have 1/2 a chance before it goes into the rough. If you end up in the rough your in the lap of the gods because it is mega rough in places. You'd be wise to spend some time on the putting green as this is a measure of the actual greens. So if you think the putting green is quick wait till you get on the actual greens as they are like lightning. So best you have a real read before you put or you will be in trouble. As ever the views were fantastic which made up for an average round. Easily the best time of the year to come and play this course you will not be disappointed. ????Reviewer Rating

the course was very good by large, however the greens were slightly bumpy in area throwing off your putting

Ulverston Golf Club is arguably one of the best courses in South Cumbria and features some incredible views to add. The course is a parkland and offers a great variety of treelined holes and testing greens. The staff in the pro shop and on the bar are friendly to give you a warm welcome upon arrival. This is a beautiful course with wondeful views. The course is a stiff task to the handicapper but very fair. The greens are magnificent and are very consistent throughout the hole course with little or no variation in speed. All in all a very enjoyable round of golf is to be enjoyed for the low to mid handicapper. The 17th hole is an absolute gem.

not the longest course, but its a good test of golf hard to find some of the fairways lots of ups and downs,

very nice course with great views. i feel the greens could be better but i played in the winter so they wer very wet. should have had temp greens. hope there better in the summer.
