Good Resort Course
Played as it is midway between where me and my golf buddy live. Paid £40 each and it was well worth the price. It’s probably not the hardest course in the world but it presents a fair challenge to high handicap players and I suspect that would also be the case for mid-handicap players. Food and drink is very reasonably priced.Reviewer Rating

Excellent throughout
The course was varied with yardage from the yellows ranging from 120-500+. Some holes had water hazards, some doglegs, some trees, some uphill, downhill with raised or sunken greens and tee boxes. The course was extremely well maintained with the rough being cut short enough so that my party of three lost very few balls over the two days we played here.
The course doesn’t have the next hole always adjacent to the one you’re playing, but the signposting was very good, so no issues there either.
My only point of improvement would be that there isn’t a hole guide or map of the holes on the back of the scorecard. There was one instance where we played a par 5 and almost hit another long shot before realising the green we needed to aim for was hidden behind a pond.
We stayed at the hotel on site and I must say the service was impeccable.

Hit and Miss
Played with my society at the course yesterday. And these are my thoughts the course given all th rain that we have had was in great condiction green were suprisingly quick the fairways were in good order too. The bunkers in general were also in good shape apart from 1 or 2. Now onto the course there are a lot of blind shots due to the dog legs on the holes which with the wind oin the day I played proved to be very challenging. Onto the club house which was adiquite very noisy to the point our society couldn't hear what was being said at our presentation no dining room seperate to the bar which was a shame the food was good rather than excellent but a good expirience all round I have to sayReviewer Rating

Interesting Course
Played here on a golf break. Very interesting course with some great holes. Greens had been renovated so they were very soft and very slow but had decent grass cover. Fairways and rough were generally tidy. Sand in the bunkers was rock hard and sparse. Tees unfortunately have no irrigation installed so were suffering with the dry conditions. Well worth a visit and the hospitality was very good!Reviewer Rating

Best Greens
Played course as a hotel guest and thus got preferential rate.Very hot period and fairways were very dry and brown. The greens were some of the best that i have played on in recent times. None were flat so where you ended up on green made all the difference, but all were true. Unfortunately there was a large society booked so pace of play was slow - would definitely play again

Standard winter golf
A bitterly cold start to the 1045 tee time, and also the low Winter Sun was especially challenging on the first couple of holes and also the closing couple of holes. I was there as part of our works golf Society so we were more interested in having banter with each other and caring about the quality of the course. Having said that if he stayed on the fairway it was a pleasure. It's been quite a few years since I've played the course and a few alterations have made it a bit easier in my opinion. What I was really impressed with was the new short game area that they are working on at the moment (not sure when this will be finished) everybody that I came across was very friendly and helpful. It's nice to have a Marshall on the first tea to show you where to goReviewer Rating
