Well laid out course, worth playing
Have just joined after being a member elsewhere in the North East for the last 3 years. I like Tynemouth, and compared to many parkland courses it seems to drain very well, both rounds over Easter did not require major mud removal from shoes! The course makes good use of a natural ravine, especially on the 9th and 10th, which both require a drive across it. If, like me, you fade the ball, it can be a challenge, especially in the wind. Looking forward to an uninterrupted summer of golf to really get to know the course properly!Reviewer Rating

The was ok, apart form the greens where in bad condition for the time of year. Much better last year in the same period.

Great course
Fairways have improved recently due to the rain, they had been quite bare and hardpan, making it difficult to play off the fairway. Greens and bunkers are in good condition at the moment.Reviewer Rating
