Lovely course
My home course, been a member for a few years now. Has suffered a little more this year with the weather, but where hasn't? Some boggy areas still and the greens still need to recover before the start of the summer season, but the Greens staff are doing an excellent job in keeping the course open more often than not. Well laid out course, worth playing
Have just joined after being a member elsewhere in the North East for the last 3 years. I like Tynemouth, and compared to many parkland courses it seems to drain very well, both rounds over Easter did not require major mud removal from shoes! The course makes good use of a natural ravine, especially on the 9th and 10th, which both require a drive across it. If, like me, you fade the ball, it can be a challenge, especially in the wind. Looking forward to an uninterrupted summer of golf to really get to know the course properly!Reviewer Rating

Incredibly good condition and almost perfect greens....in January!
Lucky enough to play at the weekend with a work colleague who is a member so amazing value as a members guest. Even if it were twice the price I'd be very happy to pay it as condition was amazingly good for January. Can't wait to get back.Reviewer Rating

Well looked after. A little extra from club buggies were off but because we had a need for one buggy they sorted that out for us. Above and beyond on that one. Creating of house staff and plenty food options course for winter was in good nic greens were temporary so no comment.Reviewer Rating

I don't play Tynemouth enough, as every time I play the course I love it. Pretty course, tucked in amongst houses, but has a calm and mature feel. Some really interesting holes as well. Well worth a visit.

Short but hilly. Every hole is framed nicely by trees or other scenery (including some nice Tynemouth houses...). Some challenging holes, but few are frustrating even for a 24hcp player.
