Take a buggy!
Loved this course but you might want a buggy!! Greens nice and fair, some tough holes, could do with more signage as we got lost a few times especially 17 to 18!! Oh and don't let the wife drive the buggy as they don't have seat belts or much to hold on to!!!Reviewer Rating

I have played trethorne on and off for around 20 years as I grew up locally, I have always enjoyed the challenge of this course, the improvements over the years have made it one of the nicest courses in Cornwall.
I often take advantage of their brilliant early bird discounts, and the staff are always friendly. 10/10

Challenging course
A must play course.Need to be accurate on many drives.
excellent condition.
Its a tough walk even for the fittest, we played 3 rounds and used buggies on the 3rd round.

Annual Visit
8th visit with average of 60 players. Its become a 2nd home as the staff are friendly, facilities good coupled with great food. The course is very well maintained & whilst not actually changing the layout, each year you can see the hard work. Enjoyable golf for all levels.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.3)

Managed to get a Groupon voucher to play this course which made it excellent value for money. The course itself is in very good condition only the second green was temporary unavailable due to work being undertaken so a temporary green was in play. Lots of hazards to negotiate which made it a great test of golf, lovely course would definitely recommend.

Excellent condition of the course considering the weather that had been around in the previous week. Fast greens but running true and sand in the bunkers which is always nice!

I spend 4 days here every June/July and I cant rate this club high enough.
Food is brilliant, rooms comfy and staff always polite. The course itself is in great shape although the second green is being topdressed and seeded at the moment. Always a good test from tees to green. Can't wait for next year. (played -10th-13th July, scores 97,92,91,87. 18hcp)

Played two days ago great course in great nick ! Can't wait to play the new 16th par 3. Food was good to, all in all flipping good value for money, already booked up off a return visit.

Played Trethorne this week and thought it played really well. Good to see so much work being carried out, never cease's to amaze me at the amount of work thats undertaken on this course/club each year! Shall look forward to my next round, only wish I lived closer!!!!

Played at a charity event yesterday (Big Oggie Golf for Man Down), what a fabulous course and friendly people. Lots of changes in height, greens in excellent conditions. Some great holes, not really one that is a true "signature hole" (a great par 3 contender for it though), more of a course with 18 excellent holes.Reviewer Rating
