Affordable
Don't set your expectations too high. Fairways are reasonable. Tees need work & ongoing. Greens not manicured & are slow but fair & true.Reviewer Rating

Short but interesting
Short course but with a fair few interesting holes. Course in really good condition, aside from a few of the bunkers that need attention. Really good value for money.Reviewer Rating

Okay public course
The rough is very rough and the greens are inconsistent. Some of the sand in the bunkers is rock hard though others seem to have been improved with newer sand that plays okay.Reviewer Rating

The worst course I’ve ever played. Should cost £10-£15 like most public courses. There isn’t a fairway, just rough - and I’m not exaggerating. Every single shot will then take 5 minutes to find the ball.
The course price at £27 gives the impression it will be worthwhile, instead it’s dreadful. Avoid.

Highly recommended
This golf facility has had a substantial upgrade in recent years. It is now at very high standard.The course is very good and a tough prospect due to the clever use of short rough. Hence there are not many lost balls, but only accuracy produces a good score. Hole six is one of the best looking difficult short par 4's around.
The place deserves to do well and is now a regular away venue

Slowish round, only just broke 4 hours in midweek on shortish course stuck behind 3 groups of 2/3 balls. Fairways in good nick but greens poor (slow, bobbly and mossy)Reviewer Rating

Like a swamp

trent park are still only allowing 2 ball.bunkers are not in use.the pins are not allowed to be taken out.so at the moment, the course is not good value .

Rip off driving range
Be careful not to fall fowl of the driving range ball dispensing machine! Despite clicking the correct button, I ended up paying for £6 for 25 balls when wanted to pay £9 for 100 (you have to make sure to change your selection on the card machine too). Apparently because it was my mistake, they would not let me pay £9 for 100 as I originally wanted, so ended up paying £15 for 125. Not a huge amount of money but I have heard from a few friends who have had exact same experience.. basically a cunning plot to get an extra few quid from Trent park!Reviewer Rating

the new management have significant changes, with 10 new ground staff. The course now reflects the work put in. Used to be a very boggy, muddy stretch of grass. Now is drained and mown fairway, with the greens that run fast.
